The Wedding Festivities Have Now Concluded

We are now in August and I am one month away from my official move to Houston, Texas. Andy came out this weekend to San Diego to attend Erin's wedding. August 2nd, 2008 Erin became Mrs. Micheal Cascioppo. It was a very busy couple of days and exhausting time. Erin was pleased on how everything turned out even with the few bumps in the road included a cute little ring bearer who decided to play toss the pillow, and another little boy who decided to be Houdini and dissapeared to another hotel across the courtyard. We got everything back on track especially with Gary on the case. The DJ who was there for our wedding snafu you the know the whole seizure thing was the same DJ Erin and Mike had. We love him to pieces and he is becoming part of our family we see him at least once a year it seems. Here some pictures of the big day it was bright, cheerful and definetly colorful. More to come in the near future. Enjoy the pictures!

We are over Half Way through the year

June and July I have to say were the fastest months ever. At the beginning of June I finally got to see all the furniture I purchased on the internet. I loved ever bit of it, although I only had three days to enjoy it I worked hard to get some more stuff pulled together in the house see the pictures. Then two weeks later we went to Virginia and went to attend a wedding for our family friends the Logans. Jen was getting married in Richmond, VA to Sean Lynch of Ronoake, Virginia. We went with Andy's parents down there. The wedding was great and we had a lot of fun! On Sunday morning we ventured to Williamsburg, VA a place I have been wanting to go for years. It was great! However the five hour car ride back was not so fun. But I am still glad I went. Then I return back to Houston for Fourth of July and worked out of the house. The week went by fast but I got to do some new things I went to my first Flea Market and visited Old Town Spring. Upon my return we had Erin's bachelorette party at a day spa. We went to Glen Ivy it was very relaxing I got the best facial of my life! Now July is almost over and we are approaching Erin's wedding. Next month will bring some new pictures!! Stay tuned.

2008 A New Beginning

Welcome to our new family blog!

2008 is a year of new beginnings for Andy and Brandi. Andy began a new job in Houston, Texas for a company called Heerema a dutch oil company. Yes Andy is now a part of the big oil industry. It is a fantastic opportunity we couldn't pass up.

So up till now here is our quick snap shot timeline:

January we packed up Andy and his car and sent him on his way while I stayed behind. He moved into a corporate apartment and began his new job.

Then in February I flew out for a week and we purchased our new beautiful home. It was going to be a couple of months for completion so Andy went every week for progress reports.

Then came March and we moved all of our furniture into a POD and shipped it to Houston. It was a pretty easy move and we had our wonderful helpers to assist.

April came pretty quick and it was time to move in the house so I did a whirl wind trip flew to Houston close the house on Friday, got our furniture delivered on Saturday and began unpacking on Sunday and then returned home.

May has just past but, May was an incredible month busy but wonderful. I threw a couple of baby showers one for Susan, one for my boss Kelly and then my big shower for Erin my best friend since childhood. I am her matron of honor and very honored to do so, I threw a Tiffany and Co. extravaganza. We had a blast I ended the month on a humble note by throwing another Make A Wish party at work which is always a privledge and honor to be a part of.

More to come but here is the update on us for now...
